Christmas Classic has big talent lineup

Toronto is about to be set on fire by a compilation of artists all mixed by ace promoter Curtis Eustace in a Christmas Classic.

Parang/Soca Queen Marcia Miranda and the boss, Sugar Aloes, will perform alongside one of the top pannists, Ken ‘Professor’ Philmore and comedian from Trinidad Tommy Joseph.

With true Jamaican comedy from Jay Martin, special guest singer from Trinidad, Rome and local representation from Mark Moca, Connector and Ms. JD, what can be better than that?

They’ll be accompanied by top local parang groups Los Amigos and Tony Maestre & Friends, and DJs such as D’Bandit, Bad Lad, DeEnforcas, Soca Sweetness, Soca Vibes, Gazza and Redy, all hosted by SKF and Eman.

This combination of parang, pan and comedy is an event of true Caribbean flavor and a not-to-be-missed show. A diverse menu of delicious food, Caribbean-flavoured ice cream from Sweet and Nice and bakery items from Papa Joe’s will be the dessert to an incredible night.

The event takes place at the Armenian Centre, 50 Hallcrown Place, Victoria Park and Sheppard. Doors open at 6 p.m. Showtime is 8 p.m.

Tickets are available at Play d Record in Scarborough, at Monas and M & A and in the east end at Island Mix and the west end at Charlies. Tickets are also available online at Ticketgateway.com or the hotline at 416- 728-6504.
