Despite the “wintry weather” in Toronto on Saturday, the annual Gospel Praise On Steel  concert, organized by the Pan Arts Network (PAN), came off as  scheduled.

More than 300 people  who attended the steelband gospel concert  were treated to a range of music that lifted the spirits. Many in the audience at the Canada Christian College sang and  swayed as the sounds of  worship filled the hall.

One steelband enthusiast noted that  this year’s spring gospel concert  was the first  in its seven year  history  when some people kept  away” because of  bad driving conditions.”

In a news release from  PAN, the organizers of the concert has already sent out  an invitation to those who missed this year’s event to attend  the  eighth annual concert to be held next Spring.

” We, the Pan Arts Network, will continue to promote our culture by bringing you our best,” it said.
