MADAME WOB: Participants in last year’s Madame Wob Dwiyet, a Dominican Cultural Pagent, show off their native costumes before the one-of-a-kind event, which happens again this year on September 29. The Madame Wob event intends to dazzle the multicultural communities of Canada with an array of Dominican talent including a display of cultural heritage, performances of traditional dances, with the event showcase being the national dress  “Wob Dwiyet”.  This cultural extravaganza is in celebration of Dominica’s 35th anniversary of independence and will be held at the St Peter and Paul Banquet Hall.
