OUTSTANDING YOUTH: The 2013 Cotillion Ball was held last Saturday at the Delta Toronto East Hotel where a number of debutantes were presented to the audience. The Cotillion Ball celebrates youth who took part in a youth development program that teaches them, among other things, social graces, public speaking, etiquette, ballroom dancing and Canadian black history. The program is designed to complement the general academic curriculum and prepare young people for “a world of opportunities.” Here, debutantes (l-r) Rafeek Manning,  Tiana Knight, Alexandria Batchelor and Elijah Manning pose for The Camera at the event.
