After Becoming Me, singer goes Unplugged

On June 19, singer-songwriter and Caribbean Camera entertainment reporter Quinton J. Hobson returns to Seneca College Residence and Conference Centre with his second concert – Unplugged.

Last July, the Toronto-born vocalist headlined his very first full-length concert, Becoming Me.

A success with both critics and audiences alike (radio personality William Doyle-Marshall of CHRY- FM particularly enjoyed the singer’s versatile song choices and family friendly humour) it seemed only natural that a sequel was in order; the question was when.

One year later, the timing seems just about right for the Wexford graduate to return to the stage.

Joined by mother Gillian on piano, Quinton, whose theatrically trained voice draws influence from musicians young and old, promises to serenade his audience with a set list of both original compositions and timeless covers, while charming them with memorable stories from his past, reviving elements that made last year’s Becoming Me so well-received.
