Another Rapper shot dead in Toronto

Last Friday night, local rap singer Tyronne Noseworthy was one of three men shot dead at a downtown condo AirBnB party.   Noseworthy, 19, goes by the name “fourty4double0”,  was one-half of the rap duo Tallup Twinz. The other victims were Jalen Colley, 21, and Joshua Gibson-Skeir, 20, both of Brampton, Ontario. Two other people were also injured.

Tallup Twinz has had much success after taking part in the 2018 Northside Jane compilation album. In 2019 the duo gained popularity by cutting songs and shooting videos with fellow rappers including Press, Burna Bandz, and, Robin Bank.

Toronto police believe two gunmen opened fire during the party on the 32nd floor of a high-rise condo on Queens Wharf Road. Police are calling it a double murder and are not ruling out suicide as the cause of the third death. They are not seeking any suspects.

According to the social media site, Hip Hop Canada, this week’s shooting:  

“Toronto has lost at least four members of its hip-hop community to gun violence since Dec. 26. Fourty4double0’s death follows the passing of BVLLYWhy-S, and 22 Filthy.”
