Last Saturday MPP for Brampton Centre and Ontario’s Associate Minister of Women’s Social & Economic Opportunity Charmaine Williams visited Kensington Pharmacy in Brampton to receive her annual flu shot.

She attended alongside her mother and community advocate Angela Carter from Roots Community Services in peel.

Kensington Pharmacy administers flu shots to Brampton residents free of charge.

On receiving the vaccine, Williams said, “Keeping up to date on vaccines continues to be the best way for people to stay healthy this flu and respiratory illness season and prevent unnecessary visits to the hospital. My family and I receive our flu shots every year. It was great to be accompanied by family and friends. I encourage everyone that is able to go out and get theirs.”
