Australia opening batsman Chris Rogers has been ruled out of the second Test against the West Indies which starts today (June 11) at Sabina Park, Jamaica.

Rogers missed the first Test in Dominica because of a concussion he suffered after being hit while practising in the nets in Dominica.

His place will most likely be taken by Shaun Marsh and last week’s debut centurian Adam Voges to maintain his spot at number five.

According to Australia team doctor Peter Brukner, “Chris has improved but he is still not 100 percent so we are restricting his training. Therefore he is unavailable for selection in the second Test.”
