Last evening, the Black Business Professional Association (BBPA) hosted their annual Harry Jerome Awards at the Beanfield Centre in Toronto. The event was a cornerstone for those championing a strong Black community, drawing notable attendees such as Toronto Mayor Chow and Brampton Mayor Brown. Surrounded by approximately seven hundred proud members of the Black community.
The ceremony recognized 2024’s most outstanding individuals with thirteen prestigious awards. One of the evening’s highlights was the posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award for Jay Williams, which received one of the loudest ovations of the night.
