Beyoncé Knowles-Carter introduces Cécred, a new haircare line

LOS ANGELES – Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has unveiled Cécred, a groundbreaking haircare line that merges global traditions with cutting-edge science. The brand’s Foundation Collection features innovative keratin recovery technology designed to visibly strengthen and revive hair health.

Inspired by diverse hair rituals worldwide, Cécred’s products are enriched with a blend of natural ingredients such as butters, oils, honey, and fermented rice water. This unique formulation aims tonourish hair and promote overall hair health. The Foundation Collection consists of eight products that cleanse, condition, and repair hair.

“As a Black founder, I needed to focus on addressing the specific needs of textured hair,” said Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, founder, and chairwoman of Cécred.

”  I wanted to prioritize scientific innovation and product performance to create a line that celebrates hair in all its forms and dispels myths and misconceptions.”

Knowles-Carter’s lifelong experience with haircare, including her time spent in her mother’s salon, inspired her to develop Cécred.

He mother,Tina Knowles,  joins Cécred as vice chairwoman, bringing her 40 years of expertise as a hairstylist, salon owner, and entrepreneur to the brand.

Cécred’s key innovation is its Bioactive Keratin Ferment, a patent-pending technology that combines wool-derived keratin, honey, and lactobacillus ferment. This formula penetrates deep into the hair cortex to repair and strengthen damaged hair, without the use of silicones that merely mask damage.
