Peel United Cultural Partners, a collaboration between the Congress of Black Women of Canada – Brampton Chapter and the United Achievers’ Club of Brampton, will present its 23rd Annual Black History Month concert on Saturday.

Organizers promise an evening of inspiration and celebration at the Century Gardens Recreation Centre in Brampton.
The programme of entertainment will include dancing, drumming and steelpan music.
Winners of a BHM creative writing competition will be announced at the concert.
Guest Speaker will be Justice Dr. Irving Andre.
Dr. Matthew S. Weekes, a Dentist with over 40 years of
practice, will receive the Black History Recognition Award for 2024.

The Congress of Black Women of Canada, established in 1980 as a voluntary non-profit organization, focusses on the empowerment of women of Afro-Caribbean descent. Its Brampton Chapter, founded in 1989, actively engages in community-building initiatives.
