Affordable luxury weddings debut at Bahamas private island

Among the more distinctive offerings is a dolphin swim wedding, allowing couples to exchange vows in the island’s lagoon alongside marine life, creating a memorable and unconventional ceremony setting.

Charmaine Moss-Albury, the island’s sales and marketing manager, said the packages are designed to reflect evolving preferences among couples and event planners.

“Couples today are prioritizing experiences that feel intimate, meaningful and effortless,” she noted, adding that the goal is to reduce the complexities often associated with destination planning while maintaining high-quality service and flexibility.

Beyond weddings, the island is positioning itself as a versatile venue for a wide range of events, including corporate retreats, birthdays, anniversaries and concerts. Facilities on the island include beachfront lounges, palm-lined coves, terraces and a modern dining pavilion, enabling both daytime and evening functions.

Customized catering options highlight both Bahamian and international cuisine, ranging from casual island-style meals to multi-course dining experiences. Event planners can also incorporate activities such as dolphin encounters, beach games and live entertainment to enhance guest engagement.

A dedicated events team manages logistics from transportation to on-site coordination, an approach aimed at providing clients with a seamless experience from arrival to departure.
