Bob Marley Day to be celebrated in Toronto on February 5th

For the past 32 years, the city of Toronto has honoured the memory of Jamaica’s Bob Marley. This year, the – 33rd annual Bob Marley Day Celebration will be held on February 5th.
“Bob Marley Day is a day dedicated to honour the life and legacy of the iconic musician, activist, and humanitarian, Robert Nesta Marley. It is a day that celebrates the positive impact he had on the world through his music, his message of unity, and his dedication to making a difference,” explained prominent lawyer and community activist Courtney Betty.
This Saturday evening there will be a private Marley celebration of celebration, reflection, and inspiration. There will be a special Bob Marley award ceremony to honour 9 individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions in the field of humanitarianism. The Caribbean Camera will be publishing the names of this year’s winners of the Award in next week’s paper.
