Brampton to host FIFA World Cup 2026™ celebration this weekend

Football fans in Brampton will have the opportunity to experience the excitement of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ this weekend as Canada Celebrates the FIFA World Cup 2026™ brings two days of free programming to Garden Square.

The family-friendly event takes place Saturday, July 18, from noon to 8 p.m., and Sunday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., offering live match broadcasts, entertainment, football-themed activities, and special guest appearances.

Hosted by Jay Martin and Rebecca Perry, the celebration is designed to give residents and visitors a chance to share in the excitement surrounding the world’s largest sporting event while bringing communities together through the game of football.

The main stage will feature live screenings of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Bronze Final at 5 p.m. on Saturday, followed by the championship Final at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Organizers say the event will also include guest speakers, interactive football activations, and activities for fans of all ages.
