The Canadian senior team lost their first 50-over match by 111 runs against Zimbabwe A last Tuesday, at the Harare Sports Club.

Zimbabwe A sent in to bat scored 287 for eight wickets in their 50 overs with opener C.J. Chibhabha topscoring with 155. S.S.Dhinsa took four for 61 and C. Pervez three for 38.

Canada in reply scored 176 for six wickets in their 50 overs with Navneet Dhaliwal undefeated on 86. T. Mupariwa took four for 31.

Canada will play three more One-Day matches today, Jan. 10 and 12 before leaving for Namibia to participate in the ICC World Cricket League Division Two, played at Windhoek from Jan. 17 to 24.
