Canada lost their opening match in the ICC World Twenty / 20 Qualifier against Kenya last Friday at Myreside, Edinburgh.

Canada sent in to bat scored 143 for five wickets in their 20 overs with opener R. Gunasekera topscoring with 51 and skipper R. Cheema made 35.

Kenya in reply made 146 for three wickets in 18.3 overs with I. Karim undefeated on 74. J.  Gordon took two wickets for 23 runs.

Canada lost their second game to Oman by seven wickets.

Canada scored 133 for three wickets in 13 overs (D/L Method). Oman in reply scored 135 for three wickets in 11.2 overs.

Finally, Canada lost their third match last Tuesday against the United Arab Emirates by five wickets.

Canada scored 132 for nine wickets in their 20 overs with H. Patel topscoring with 45. UAE in reply scored 136 for five wickets in 19.1 overs.
