Black Friday, Cyber Monday bring airline deals to Caribbean destinations
Just after the Friday and Monday shopping rush, two airlines made important announcements. Caribbean Airlines has launched a new discount offer, and WestJet is now flying non-stop from Toronto to Havana, Cuba.

Caribbean Airlines’ deal is short and sweet. The airline, a popular link between Toronto, Trinidad and Tobago, and many other Caribbean destinations, says your “next trip is literally a click away.”
“For 24 hours only, enjoy up to 40% off flights on select destinations. Don’t miss out. These fares are available exclusively on our website,” the carrier announced on Monday.
Booking Period: December 1–31, 2025.
Meanwhile, Canada’s WestJet has just announced new service to Havana from Toronto.
New flights put Havana in the spotlight

WestJet will begin Toronto-Havana service on December 18, with flights operating Thursdays and Sundays through April 23rd, 2026.
“Cuba’s capital is on the verge of regaining an air link with this country, a development that’s being welcomed by Cuban tourism,” WestJet said in its announcement.
While both Air Canada and WestJet fly into many of Cuba’s beach destinations, this new service is currently the only way to fly direct from Toronto to Havana.
