The sold-out event marked a significant milestone for the organization, drawing attendees from across the GTA and beyond. Held for the first time at the picturesque venue just north of Toronto, Bloom offered a curated experience designed to uplift, connect, and empower Caribbean women in all walks of life.

Guests were welcomed with bottomless mimosas and the sounds of live Caribbean music, setting the tone for a day that blended cultural pride with contemporary elegance. From lush floral installations to a gourmet lunch buffet, every detail reflected the event’s theme of women thriving and flourishing together.

“Bloom is more than a moment, it’s a movement,” said Kerra Denel, founder and CEO of CWN. “This fifth edition was a testament to the power of Caribbean women showing up for one another, pouring into each other, and celebrating ourselves in full bloom.”

The afternoon featured a dynamic lineup of speakers who brought authenticity and heartfelt wisdom to the stage. Highlights included entrepreneur and real estate leader Odeen Eccleston Wiltshire who spoke on legacy and leadership; TEDx speaker Stacy-Ann Buchanan on healing and mental health, creative director Ashley McKenzie-Barnes on artistic self-expression, and content creator Ariba Pervaiz on motherhood and vulnerability. Multimedia storyteller Bee Quammie closed with an empowering reflection on identity and ambition.

A Caribbean vendor marketplace showcased woman-led businesses from across the diaspora, reinforcing CWN’s commitment to entrepreneurship and economic empowerment. Attendees also received luxe charm bracelets as keepsakes, adding a personal touch to the occasion.

With all ticket tiers sold out well in advance, Bloom has firmly established itself as a premier gathering for Caribbean women in Canada.

“Twelve events in, and the purpose remains the same: to create powerful spaces where Caribbean women feel seen, celebrated, and deeply connected,” said Denel.

Founded in 2018, the Caribbean Women’s Network is a global nonprofit organization with chapters in eight cities. Its mission is to empower, connect, and celebrate women of Caribbean heritage through mentorship, leadership development, and cultural programming.
