Celebrating the principle of Kujichagulia – self-determination – on the second day of Kwanzaa, December 27, 2022. Students from Antigua shared heartfelt and timely stories from their anthology entitled “Love, Friendship & Betrayal” without missing a beat at the Blackhurst Cultural Centre. Under the direction and guidance of Dr. Howell, the director of Antigua Film Academy, the students inspired and motivated the attendees to discuss matters along the lines of bullying, relationships and LGBTQ2S issues against the political and social backdrop of the Caribbean.
