Dancehall star Konshens joins Freedom Mas Band for Carnival Parade

Early this week Brampton’s Freedom Mas Band announced that Konshens will be joining them on Saturday, August 5th for the Carnival’s annual Grand Parade along Lakeshore Blvd.

Garfield Delano Spence, popularly known as Konshens, has a massive following in various parts of the world, including Kenya, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, and Europe. His single “Gal Dem Talk” achieved significant success in Europe.

Freedom Mas Band which bills itself as the Caribbean Carnival’s First Jamaican Mas Band, will have 10 sections on the road this year, and they report that registration for people wanting to play Mas with Konshens closes this week ⠀
