Deloitte Canada announces Black and Indigenous Student Scholarship

Deloitte Canada announced the launch of the Black Student Scholarship and Indigenous Student Scholarship.

Twenty-five students will be selected from across Canada. Each will be awarded a one-time $5,000 scholarship towards eligible school expenses, and an opportunity to complete a work term at one of Deloitte’s Canadian offices this year.

To eligible the candidates must meet the following criteria:

– Be eligible to work in Canada

– Self-identify as Black or Indigenous (Inuit, First Nations or Métis)

– Be enrolled in post-secondary education in Canada (full-time or part-time)

-And must be a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year student

Registration closes on August 22nd at 11:59 PM (ET).

What does the application process look like?

Step 1: The initial application must be accompanied by transcript for the latest year(s) of your completed education, resume/CV, cover letter, and brief personal statement on an experience in your life where you showed leadership and its impact.

Step 2:  Invitation to a virtual interview.

Step 3: Recipient selection: successful applicants will be notified of their award via phone
