A fundraising dinner is planned for those who want to make a difference in the lives of abused women and children, domestic violence survivors and people living in poverty, who access the resources of Women of Excellence Support and Relief Organization (WESRO).

The event, scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 16, at the Jamaican Canadian Association will feature a presentation by retired constable Ojo Tewogbade, a women’s advocate.

Among special guests will be MP Mike Sullivan and Councillor Frances Nunziata.

WESRO is a registered non-profit charitable organization established in 2004 which caters to individuals of all ages from diverse backgrounds.
