NEW YORK CITY – In a bid to identify the best destinations in the Caribbean for adventure, food, golf, shopping and nightlife, USA Today enlisted the help of 10Best readers, who were given four weeks to determine the best of the bunch in each category.
When the results came in, the Dominican Republic maintained the winning form that saw it dominate TripAdvisor’s recent top all-inclusive resorts list, with 10Best readers voting it into the top spot in three out of the five categories polled, and awarding it second place in the remaining two.
Puerto Rico took the other two top spots, while Barbados secured a place in each category, and St. Maarten and Trinidad & Tobago earned three listings each.
