Durham Community Action Group distributes food to over 1500 Ajax residents

Ajax Councilor Nancy Henry and MPP Patrice Barnes

Durham Community Action Group (DCAG) recently organized another successful food distribution event at the South Side Worship Center in Ajax.

MPP Patrice Barnes and Councilor Nancy Henry went the extra mile by personally delivering food to seniors in apartment buildings as DCAG continues its efforts to address food insecurity with a regular pantry service.

The South Side Worship Center event provided essential supplies to 1500+ individuals in Ajax. The centre pays particular attention to families in need of vital food provisions.

Ajax MPP Patrice Barnes and Councilor Nancy Henry personally delivered food to seniors unable to attend the distribution center. They made multiple trips, ensuring that seniors in apartment buildings received the support they needed.

The next major food distribution event will be held on June 17th, from noon to 3 pm. The location will be announced soon, providing another opportunity for individuals and families to access essential food supplies.
