This free display is open to the public Friday and Saturday (June 26 and 27) and is sponsored by the Department of Canadian Heritage to showcase Canadian values, culture and identity.
Hosted by Mawuli Chai and Alicia Malcolm-Anderson, the exhibit highlights Black Canadian excellence and achievement in sports and focuses on competitors past and present, such as the legendary Mike Marson who was the second Black Canadian to play in the NHL.
The exhibit is at Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building, Room 205A, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
