Connecting with the community, after three months in business?

Well, it was not easy but EZjet left the packed Twilight Restaurant on Nugget and McCowan with lots of food: literally and mentally!

With calls from the travel agents looking for the carrier’s boss, Sonny Ramdeo, saying he should have been here, the airline’s two spokespersons did an excellent job of sharing their knowledge.

The EZ representatives stressed the importance of customer service and revealed that they fly non-stop every Tuesday and Thursday from Toronto to Georgetown. And yes, they have a special for the month of October: $550! As well, they beat any competitor’s price with equivalent baggage allowance/service offering.

More good news, EZjet believes in giving back to the Guyanese community. “Give us a call if you are a Guyanese charitable organization or place of worship and find out how we can work together to build a stronger community,” Nadira Persaud, Canadian Operations Manager, said.

Persaud also revealed that their customer referral programme makes it possible to earn a free ticket (passenger is responsible for taxes).“You have to refer 10 customers to EZjet and you ticket is on us.”

Persaud stressed that there will be 2 checked bags @ 66 lbs. (September 15 thru Dec 10, normal allowance is 60 lbs, with one carry on at 22 lbs.

The non-stop service offers a free complimentary meal; free EZjet points; a wide-body 767 aircraft and convenient departure times.
