The creators of the popular Ubersoca Cruise have launched the UberAfro Cruise, a four-night luxury cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Explorer of the Seas from November 21-25, 2023.
The inaugural cruise will depart from Miami, Florida and will stop in Ocho Rios, Jamaica before returning to Miami.
In a press statement Founder and CEO Nathaniel Turner noted that UberAfro Cruise will be a historic celebration of Afrobeats music, art, culture, fashion, vibes, and energy.
“Imagine Amapiano on the Ocean, Afrobeats on the lido deck and the intoxicating scent of Jolloff and Fufu in the kitchen! UberAfro cruise has something for everyone!”, the organiser stated in the release.
One of the main attractions of UberAfro Cruise is the lineup of entertainers.
From established Afrobeats stars and Amapiano artists, the roster is jam-packed with African talent and sprinkles from the diaspora.
On what the attendees should expect from the event, he said: “Attendees can expect performances by some of the biggest names in the game. If you’re a fan of Afrobeats, Amapiano music, or Nollywood movies, this is an event you simply cannot miss. From lounging on the deck and soaking up the sun to exploring the beautiful island of Jamaica, there’s something for everyone on UberAfro Cruise.”
“There will be unlimited food and premium drinks, non-stop Afrobeats parties, live concerts, themed parties, comedy shows, pool parties, beach parties, workshops and seminars, sports tournaments and health and wellness.”
As an added bonus, the cruise will feature a number of interactive experiences that give attendees the opportunity to get up close and personal with their favourite artists.
