Fortuna Bay, Freeport, Grand Bahama – The Viva Wyndham all-inclusive hotel has a special travel promotion running until March 31, 2023. The resort is offering all-inclusive package deals of 45% off bookings and resort rates as low as $99 per adult, per night. Promotion excludes travel booked around Christmas and New Year’s Dau.

The Grenada Tourism Authority has a new Chairman. Earlier this fall Randall Dolland accepted a three-year term to head up this 11-member board. Dolland is a Stony Brook University graduate and the former marketing manager of the now defunct Flamboyant Hotel in Morne Rouge. Air Canada’s nonstop service to Grenada restarts on November 3rd, while Sunwing’s nonstop flights get underway three days later.

St. John’s, Antigua.  Last month Air Canada added new flights to the two-island nation. The rollout of the new service began the first week of October with a single direct flight weekly from Toronto to St. John’s. Service will continue to ramp up to meet the traditional demand of the holiday season, with Air Canada forecasting five weekly flights at peak traffic times.  Travellers from Montreal will get once-a-week direct flight service beginning December 23rd. 

The return of Air Canada flights to Antigua & Barbuda comes in the wake of the destination’s latest travel advisory, which has lifted all COVID-19 restrictions for passengers arriving by air, yacht, and ferry.

Georgetown, Grand Cayman. Cayman Airways Limited has resumed its service between Grand Cayman and Montego Bay Jamaica. The one-hour nonstop daily flight began earlier this fall.

Cayman Air is about to service Hollywood’s elite!  Begining next week Cayman Airways will launch a new weekly service to Los Angeles International Airport in California. Inbound flight time is just five and a half hours with Saturday flights from California and return service on Sundays.

Varadero, Cuba. The 2022 IBA World Cocktail Championship takes place November 4th – 9th and the island is expected it will be standing room only at their many hotels and night clubs. This is the world’s biggest reunion of the world’s top Cocktail and Flair Bartenders since the lifting of Covid restrictions. Cocktails will be flowing, and the skills and entertainment will be incredible as bartenders from 64 countries compete to find the next World Cocktail Champion.
