
Two Caribbean countries -Jamaica and Puerto Rico – are represented at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
Jamaica is competing in the bobsleigh and skeleton competitions and Puerto Rico in Alpine skiing.
Jazmine Fenlator-Victorian who has switched to Jamaica after representing the United States at Sochi 2014, Carrie Russell and Audra Segree are the first Jamaican women to qualify for the bobsleigh competition at the Games.
Anthony Watson is the first athlete to represent Jamaica in skeleton. He received a late call-up to the competition after several countries declined places for the event.
Seventeen-year-old Charles Flaherty is representing Puerto Rico.
The Games end on February 25.
