Expressing gratitude for the unprecedented support, Juici Patties conveyed heartfelt appreciation to its customers for devouring what would typically be five days’ worth of patties in a single day. Consequently, the store announced a temporary closure on the following day to replenish supplies and gear up for reopening on Monday, eagerly anticipating the return of its loyal clientele.

The grand opening witnessed an enthusiastic turnout, particularly from the Caribbean diaspora in South Florida, as long queues formed with customers eagerly anticipating a taste of Jamaica’s beloved culinary delight.

Buoyed by this initial success, Juici Patties unveiled ambitious plans for expansion, with five additional stores slated to open in South Florida this summer, spanning locations in Lauderhill, Lauderdale Lakes, Miami Gardens, Sunrise, and Orlando. Spearheading this bold initiative is Daniel Chin, the dynamic director of operations and CEO of Juici Patties U.S. division, who inherits his entrepreneurial spirit from the company’s founder, Jukie Chin.

The journey of Juici Patties traces back to 1978 when a 16-year-old Jukie Chin baked his maiden batch of patties in his mother’s kitchen, subsequently selling them from a shop situated at the front of the family residence. This humble beginning laid the foundation for what would evolve into a thriving enterprise, initially known as Juici Beef Patties. Over time, the menu diversified to encompass an array of offerings, including shrimp, chicken, and vegetable patties, attuned to evolving consumer tastes and preferences.

With over 60 stores dotting the landscape of Jamaica, Juici Patties now sets its sights on extending its reach to the Caribbean diaspora.
