Henry Gomez aka King Cosmos will launch his music video for “Trinbago is Home” at Saldenah’s mas camp, 280 Consumers Road on Wednesday June 26, from 6 pm to 11 pm. The music video was shot at the same venue on June 2. It was directed by Zilla.

The video features some of Toronto’s Caribbean icons like Louis Saldenah, Drupati’s, Princess Trinidad, Hummingbird Tassa, Acting Consul General, Tracey Ramsubagh-Mannette, Lady Ralda, Skel, Terry, Trevor B, and Henrietta Hackett from COOKIN’ CONNUNDRUM FOODIE SERIES.

People simply raved about the track when King Cosmos first dropped it at Saldenah’s band launch at the Grand Cinnamon on April 20 this year. They consider it one of, if not the hottest calypso or soca track coming out of Canada for 2024. Composed by Henry (King Cosmos) Gomez and arranged by Leston Paul, “Trinbago is Home” is a patriotic or nation-building calypso along the lines of “God Bless Our Nation,” “Portrait of Trinidad,” and “Trini to De Bone.” The mp3 version was released in April, and is available on all streaming platforms.
