
Praise on steel, the sixth annual concert of gospel music ” on pan,” organized by Pan Arts Network, will be held on Saturday at Canada Christian College on Gervais Drive in Don Mills, Toronto.
Organizer Wendy Jones said that apart from the pannists, several other performers from the community will lend a Caribbean ambiance to the show.
The line-up of artistes for the concert includes calypsonian Guney Cedeno and the youth dance group, Ethnic Fusion.
Opening the show will be steelpan soloist Princess of Pan
Joy Lapps Lewis.

At the concert, Worship In Steel will be launching its CD “Giving the Highest Praise “
Jones told the Caribbean Camera that ” the steelpan has become the ministry of several steel orchestras bringing awareness of the gospel through the repertoires of traditional gospel, and popular praise and worship songs. ”
