The semi-final playoff of the Toronto & District Cricket Association, Elite Division, between Limers Lords CC and Brampton Masters Tranzac CC was washed out last Sunday by overnight rain and heavy showers on Sunday morning.
The match is rescheduled for this Saturday, Sept. 27, at Maple Leaf Cricket Ground, King City.
The winner will advance to the final against defending champions Centurians CC on Sunday, also at the Maple Leaf Ground.
In the first semi-final playoff which was played last Saturday, between the two conference winners, Centurians defeated Limers Lords by 132 runs. Centurians scored 282 for five wickets in their 50 overs. Limers Lords in reply were all out for 149 in 41.2 overs.
In the second playoff the two second-placed teams in each conference, Brampton Masters defeated Mississauga Ramblers by 121 runs. Brampton Masters scored 246 for nine wickets in their 50 overs. Mississauga Ramblers in reply were all out for 125 runs in 31.2 overs.
In the Premier Division playoffs scheduled for this Saturday, Mississauga Ramblers will play Toronto CC (P) and Victoria Park CC will take on Vikings CC at the same venue.
All games are scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
In the Scarborough Cricket Association Premier Division playoffs which were played last Saturday, defending champions Hawaiian Arctic CC defeated Kokuvil CC A. Bawa XI A defeated Deccan Hawks CC and Scarborough CC/Star CC A defeated Highland Creek CC A.
In the Second Division, Toronto Smashers CC defeated Islanders United Sports Club.
