Carnival Freaks “CFMB” was Montreal’s youngest and newest carnival band to touch the “Montreal Carifiesta” street parade in 2011, and surprise the public with its trendy and bright colorful art work. This season,Carnival Freaks will still be the pretty mas band as it has always been but it intends to give its customers an EXPERIENCE.

Along with great customer service and amazing costumes, Carnival Freaks Mas Band has earned a great reputation as the go-to-band, and will continue to meet the traditional expectations of an all-inclusive mas band with tasty breakfast/food, unlimited drinks to keep you hydrated and cool. To better the experience there will be roaming video and photographers and the best DJs in North America providing incredible vibes.

Carnival Freaks Mas Band was created in 2011 by a team of young Promoters/ disc Jockeys (Dj’s) and mas builders, and is led by Ledon Anthony John aka “Anthony G”, a mas man with over 15 years of promoting/marketing experience under his belt.

“This year,” says Anthony, “marks the 41st anniversary of Carifiesta, a tradition since 1975 celebrating Montreal’s Caribbean community, carnival style, with beautiful costumes, steelpan performances and vibrant parade participants animating the event, [which will] be held on Saturday July 2nd.”

Each year the band elects to support a worthy cause by donating a portion of its profits from the sale of costumes and t-shirts. This year it will support the search for a cure for breast cancer. The Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation is onside.

This year you can take to the streets as a member of the multi-coloured Sour Skittles section, the blue and pink Cotton Candy sectionor the t-shirt section (Jump for Brest Cancer). Costumes are priced from $130 to $400;t-shirt section is only $70. All packages include breast cancer ribbon, drink cups, bandannas, food and drinks on the road.
