Jamaica-born businesswoman Nadine Spencer has been appointed to the Toronto Police Services Board.

Spencer, the sole Black member of the Board, told The Caribbean Camera that she is looking forward to “representing the unheard voices in our community.”

Spencer is the CEO of the Black Business and Professional Association and Brand EQ Inc., a marketing and communication agency.

She is also a member of the Junior League of Toronto’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee and the City of Toronto’s Economic and Culture Recovery Advisory Group.
