The official naming ceremony took place in Fort Lauderdale on January 4th last, commemorating the ship’s 39th arrival and marking a significant milestone for Silversea and the Royal Caribbean Group.

Accompanied at the naming ceremony by Captain Cosimo Panatillo, Compton, with a flourish, smashed a magnum-sized bottle of champagne on the ship’s hull, a time-honoured tradition.

Silver Nova has been described as a “groundbreaking vessel, “designed to offer an unparalleled luxury cruise experience.

Currently undertaking its first Grand Voyage, the Grand Voyage South America 2024, the ship will circumnavigate the continent, making stops in 38 destinations across 18 countries over 71 days.
