Celebrating excellence: 3rd Annual Caribbean/Black Impact Awards set to honor outstanding achievements
The Caribbean Camera and the Black Indigenous Business Development Association (BIBDA) are gearing up for the 3rd annual Caribbean/Black Impact Awards, scheduled to take place at the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto on October 13, 2024. Building on the success of the past two years, this event continues to recognize the achievements of exceptional Caribbean and Black individuals who have made significant contributions to communities across Canada.
The awards ceremony aims to highlight excellence and dedication in various categories, including Arts & Culture, Entertainer of the Year, Community Organization, Education, Health Services, Sports Teams and Individuals, Mental Health, Business Person of the Year (Individual male and female), and Carnival Arts (Individual or Group Award).
Over the past two years, the Caribbean/Black Impact Awards have honored some of the top Caribbean individuals, and this year, organizers look forward to supporting and recognizing new honorees who have made a positive impact on their communities.
Nominations for Impact awards are now open to all interested persons and/or organizations in the Black and Caribbean communities.
