Car owners in North York have been warned. As of today, December 1st the winter parking rules for the former city of North York are now in force.
According to the Toronto Police Service Parking Enforcement Unit, parking is prohibited “between 2am and 6am, unless signs are posted indicating an exemption.”
According to a Parking Enforcement Unit information alert, “this bylaw ensures the city can completely clear streets of snow, and that large emergency vehicles can have free vehicular flow.”
This parking rule will stay in place to, and including, Friday, March 31st.
