This year, the Hall of Fame will celebrate the achievements of the following remarkable women:

  • Margaret Campbell in the category of Education, recognized for her transformative leadership at St. George’s College
  • Donette Chin-Loy Chang for her exceptional contributions to Community Leadership & Philanthropy in Jamaica and Canada
  • Michelle Gyles-McDonnough, acknowledged for her nearly 30-year career in International Relations & Public Service, notably at the United Nations
  • Cathrine Sani, recognized for her dedication to Social Services & Volunteerism, particularly at ICHS where she led rebuilding efforts for essential facilities.

The ICHS Hall of Fame recognises exceptional accomplishments of former students and staff who have made significant contributions to various fields and communities.

The gala will also feature the presentation of the inaugural President’s Award to Steven Woodham, O.D., for his outstanding service over the past thirty years as artist-in-residence at ICHS, where he has inspired musical excellence and led the symphony orchestra.

The gala serves as a dual-purpose event, honoring outstanding alumnae and raising funds for scholarships and school development programs. This year’s theme, “Learn, Lead, Lift,” aims to raise $5 million towards this cause. Several organizations have already pledged their support, including National Baking Company, Wisynco, BPM Financial, Sagicor Group Ja, Grace Kennedy Group, and Island Grill.

As ICHS celebrates its 165th anniversary, it continues to uphold its legacy of academic excellence, character development, and community engagement, evident in its recent #1 ranking in the 2023 Educate Jamaica High School Performance Index.
