Do you know a young person who is active in the Caribbean community, engaged in current issues or would be a great voice for other youth?
That person may be a suitable candidate for the Premier’s Council on Youth Opportunities (PCYO) which is now looking for new members.
The PCYO is a 25-member group of youth, young professionals and leaders, ages 16 to 25, who give advice to the government of Ontario on youth issues and how it can improve programs and services for youth.
Members of the PCYO who talk to youth in their home communities, meet approximately six times a year.
Travel costs are covered and a per diem is provided.
Persons who would like to be considered for membership in the 2018 -19 PCYO are required to submit their applications directly on the Public Appointments Secretariat (PAS) website by January 19, 2018.
Those selected for an interview will be contacted in February 2018.
If you have any questions about the application process, or would like to contact the PCYO, email PCYO@ontario.ca.
