Sangster Airport in Montego Bay got high marks.

CC20151105-AirportBRIDGETOWN, Barbados – Every year, SleepingInAirports conducts a survey asking travellers to rate their airport experiences worldwide in several categories to determine the overall ranking.

Those that topped the 2015 list of Best Airports in the Caribbean and Central America were considered noteworthy for the overall travel experience, level of cleanliness, calibre of customer service, quality of the facilities and general comfort provided.

Highlights include good value VIP lounges, ultra-effective air conditioning – a big plus for most travellers in the tropical heat – and easy to navigate terminals.

The website noted that although travellers eagerly awaited more prevalent unlimited free Wi-Fi, they were “thrilled to appreciate these terminals for what they do well!”
