A Tribute to the Legends, a Black History Month reggae jam, rocked the house last Saturday with live renditions by contemporary artists.
Presented by Jones & Jones and TEN81 Lifestyle, the show at the Opera House featured performances by four-time Juno Award winner Exco Levi and Chester Miller, Nana Maclean, Universal Music’s Lucas DiPasquale, Mr. Cooper and The Human Rights Band.
DJ Joshua Lucas kept the crowd rocking in between performances with legends’ selections.
An extension of the JAMBANA One World Festival experience, Tribute to the Legends is a musical ‘rocumentary’ paying tribute to the life and music of Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Gregory Issacs and Joseph Hill.
Presented by TD, Saturday’s show was the first date in an Ontario tour by A Tribute to the Legends of Reggae Music.
