
Organizers of the 4th annual Scarborough Community Multicultural Festival have announced that the festival is moving to a new location this year.
Originally scheduled to take place at Confederation Park, it will now be held at the Masaryktown Park on the Scarborough Golf Club Road.
The “free festival” is billed as “three-days of excitement and fun” and “an explosion of food, culture and diversity ” and will feature music from around the world.
The stage presentations will be hosted by Tatiana King and Marlon Palmer, both of radio station G98.7, along with Bollywood star Raman Shar.
The festival opens with a Canadian Citizenship and Reaffirmation ceremony. Over 100 candidates will receive their citizenship certificates at the ceremony on Friday, August 24 at 2 p.m.
The festival runs from August 24-26 (10 a.m.to 11p.m).
