KINGSTON, Jamaica – Scotiabank has signed a (Jamaican) $6-million sponsorship agreement with Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO) for the Jamaica Investment Forum, scheduled to take place at the Montego Bay Conference Centre from June 12 to 14.
The conference is being held under the theme ‘Setting the Stage – Why Invest in Jamaica,’ and is expected to attract approximately 200 international investors.
“It is very important for Scotiabank to be involved in this initiative,” said David Noel, president and CEO of Scotia Group.
“The Jamaica Investment Forum opens the economy to growth by providing a platform for interested investors to identify potential partners and explore business opportunities on the island”, he added.
This is the second time Scotiabank has partnered with JAMPRO on the investment forum, having previously sponsored the 2015 conference.
