
HAMIILTON – Seven feature film will be presented at Hamilton’s first annual Black film festival which will showcase ” a wide range of BIPOC talent ” in its inaugural series May 28-30
Paize Usiosefe, the Nigeria-born founder of the festival, said the works of 22 Canadian filmmakers will be presented along with films from the United States and Africa.
“The festival’s roster will be composed entirely of films created by or starring BIPOC people,” said Usiosefe, the Hamilton-based film producer.
” Our intention was to show the films in the Westdale cinema but due to the COVID pandemic, screenings will be virtual, ” he said
