“Soca Come Back to Toronto” for Easter

Get ready to release all that pent up Soca energy as two of Trinidad and Tobago’s best Soca artists will be bringing “Soca Come Back to Toronto” this weekend for the first time in 2 years. Reigning Road March and International Soca Monarch

Iwer George and Farmer Nappy

will take to the stage at the Grande Cinnamon to bring “Soca Come Back to Toronto”.

Iwer, who won the 2022 T&T Road March with “The stage not good again”, promises to hit the ground running when he lands in Toronto.

“Toronto is one of the places that I love to perform because the people are truly the best anywhere,” Iwer told the Caribbean Camera. “I am coming to make you sweat.”

Farmer Nappy known as The Lady’s Man, will be coming with his massive hits “Backyard Jam” and the “Garbage Bag”, along with “Big People Party”, to the Grand Cinnamon stage on Thursday, April 14th, 2020.

Toronto’s own superstar Jaxx will pay a special tribute to soca great Blaxx, who died last March. Jaxx will deliver some of Blaxx’s soca favoutites hits like “Spread your legs and Leh go, Mashup, and No Woman in the Band. All this will be driven by the riddims of Trinidad’s massive DJ Leon, popularly known as Pappy.
