Spirits & Spice, a Black History Month food festival to raise money for the Caribbean Scholarship Foundation, is happening at Marche at Brookfield Place in downtown Toronto until Feb. 8.

The culinary event features the exotic cuisine of Caribbean Canadian chief La-toya Fagon. At a preview yesterday, Fagon served up her take on the warm aromas and spicy tastes and drinks of the islands.
