Kenneth Bhagan, a long-time member of the Ontario Steelpan Association, passed away on December 25. He was 77 years old.

Mr. Bhagan will be remembered for the work he did with the St. James Town Youth Centre Steel Orchestra. Over the years, he had been the Executive Director of St. Jamestown Youth Centre Steel Orchestra. He was also the President and CEO of Downtown Care-Ring Home Support Services of Toronto and Chairman of the Christian Leadership Council of Toronto.

The Ontario Steelpan Association posted a notice of his passing shortly after Christmas Day, stating, “The OSA extends its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and to the St. Jamestown Community on the recent passing of Kenneth Bhagan.”

His influence and impact were felt in many different aspects, and he will be sorely missed by many,” read the announcement.
