DARTMOUTH, R.I. – A Providence woman wanted in connection with an assault at a Dartmouth strip club has been returned to Massachusetts.

According to police, 35-year-old Katherine Mercedes Pimental was taken into custody in the Dominican Republic.

She is facing several charges, including mayhem, assault and battery on a police officer, OUI and disorderly conduct.

Police said Pimental attacked another dancer at the King’s Inn strip club with a beer bottle back in 2007.

According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, Pimental will be arraigned on bail jumping charges in Fall River Superior Court.
