Superbowl's Jamaican-Canadian superstar

Canadians and the Caribbean community alike both have the same reason to take a very keen interest in this weekend’s Superbowl in New York/ New Jersey — and his name is Orlando Franklin. The Kingston, Jamaica-born offensive lineman for the Denver Broncos was raised in Toronto, and is a key part of the team that will be facing the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. To celebrate his participation in the game, Scarborough Thunder Football is hosting a Super Bowl Support Party at 6 p.m. at Seneca College, Newnham Campus at Don Mills and Finch on Superbowl Sunday. Admission is free, and fans are asked to wear the Denver Broncos colours.
